Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This policy explains what Rysein ("Rysein", "we") collects when you use this website, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you browse and search
Your search words and filters are sent to our server to show results. You do not need an account to use the site, and we do not set advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose to sign in, we set the cookies described under "If you create an account" below. Our hosting and security providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
When you press Apply
Apply buttons go through Rysein before sending you to the employer or job network. We record the job, the time, your country (from your network), the type of browser and device, the website you came from, and a scrambled identifier made from your IP address and browser details. We do not store your raw IP address in this record. We use this to count real clicks, detect bots and repeat clicks, report to our job network partners, and understand which jobs help people. If you are signed in, we also add the job to your apply history, which only you can see.
When you contact us
The Contact form stores your name, email address, topic and message, plus a scrambled identifier of your IP address to prevent spam. We use these only to read and answer your message.
If you create an account
An account is optional. When you sign up we store your name, your email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, never the password itself. If you opt in, we also record that you would like occasional news and tips by email. As you use your account we store the jobs you save, any notes you add, and the jobs you open through Rysein while signed in (your apply history).
You can also sign in with Google. In that case Google tells us your name, your email address and your Google account ID, and we store those for you instead of a password. We never see your Google password. Signing in with Google also links to any account you already had with the same email address. Google handles that sign in under its own privacy policy.
When you sign in we keep a session record with your IP address, browser details and the time, so that we can keep you signed in and protect the account from misuse. We set two cookies for this: one that keeps you signed in and one marker that tells the site whether to look for your account. Both are strictly necessary, last up to 30 days from your last visit, and are removed when you sign out. We email you to confirm your address and to reset your password. We send news or tips only if you opted in, and you can change that on your account page.
You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it at any time through the contact form. The account page does not have a delete button yet.
Where jobs come from
Job listings are provided by employers and job networks. When you apply you leave Rysein and the employer or network handles your application and data under its own privacy policy. We never see your CV or application.
Who we share data with
We use service providers to run the site (hosting, database, email delivery and content delivery or security). They may process data for us only to provide those services. We share click counts and related details with job network partners where needed to measure and pay for traffic. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep records only as long as needed for the purposes above, for example fraud checks, reporting and payment disputes, and then delete or anonymise them. Account data is kept until you delete your account, and expired sign-in sessions are removed automatically. Contact messages are kept until we have dealt with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the laws of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or India) you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact us. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Security
We use encrypted connections, limit who can access our systems, and keep click identifiers in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Rysein is not meant for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. If we begin to use analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
